Our denomination originated in 1908 after a series of
unions within America, and later with Canadian and British
Churches who all shared the Wesleyan heritage. Nazarenes are
represented in about 138 countries worldwide with
approximately 100 Churches in Britain. Locally we started as
a small gathering in 1983 and have grown steadily over the
years. We see ourselves as a friendly Church endeavouring to
reach out to our local area and all of King's Lynn. We
foster good relations with the other Christian Churches in
King's Lynn and are members of the Evangelical Alliance and
'Churches Together'. Because we meet in a school, we are
very much aware that the church is the people and not the
building.
